The Future of Food Conference, EIT Food‘s annual event, returns this year as a hybrid event.
Two months after the UN Food Systems Summit, the conference will take stock of the Summit’s outcomes and it will look at the role of the EU in implementing its commitments through the uptake of innovation which can deliver both economic and societal impact in line with the SDGs.
Bringing together EU policymakers, EIT Food partners, stakeholders active in food innovation, education, entrepreneurship and consumer engagement, as well as industry, farmer and consumer associations, the conference will provide a high-level platform to discuss future trends and priorities in food innovation in Europe.
The conference will address the role of younger generations in transforming food systems. We will discuss challenges and solutions in areas such as: soil health and regenerative agriculture; aquaculture; circular food systems and sustainable food labelling. The program will include sessions on the impact of information on consumer trust in food, and education, with a special focus on vocational education and training.

I like how the conference is bringing all perspectives together—industry, consumers, and farmers. It shows that innovation doesn’t happen in silos. I’ve noticed the same in education, where flexibility has become essential. At one point, I explored options like Hire Someone to Take My GED Online Exam because managing work and study was overwhelming. That’s why I can relate to how food innovation also needs practical solutions to balance ambition and real-world challenges.
